The Wilson County Beekeepers Association (WCBA) will be offering a three-night course in beginning beekeeping. This class will take place Tuesday, October 22 through Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Ward Ag Center (fairgrounds) in the East/West Building.

When you enter the fairgrounds at the main entrance, come up to the Expo Center, turn left and follow the road around to the outside of the white fence.  We are the large building behind the Expo Center with the parking lot in front of you.  We will be starting promptly at 6:30 pm nightly and concluding around 9:00 pm.  Tuesday and Wednesday night will be a classroom setting with valuable information and Thursday will be a hands-on program in building a complete beehive ready to use.

The cost of the three-night class will be $25.00 per person or $45.00 per couple.  This cost will include a one-year membership in the WCBA, a one-year membership in the Tennessee Beekeepers Association, and a copy of ‘Beekeeping in Tennessee’. Please download the application that needs to be completed and returned with your check made payable to “WCBA”.
