If you missed the September 14 meeting of the Wilson County Beekeepers Association, you missed a great presentation on getting your bees ready for winter. From various ways of doing mite counts this fall, to ensuring your bees have enough stores for the winter, Carey Mitchell covered it all. Our next meeting is Monday, July 20th at 7:00 pm in the East/West Building where we will review plans for the Association’s booth and details on the Honey Show at the Fair.

If you need honey bears for your contribution to the Association’s honey sale at the Fair, contact Petra or pick them up at this meeting.  The Wilson County Fair is August 14-22.  We need honey. We also need items for the gift basket.
