
The Wilson County Beekeepers Association Christmas Dinner is:
Monday, 5 December 2016 at 7:00 PM in the East/West Building at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center in Lebanon Tennessee.
Each family is requested to bring a covered dish and a dessert.
In addition, we are doing the ornament exchange again this year, so bring a wrapped ornament for each member in your party who wishes to participate ($5.00 limit).
Also, we will again be collecting “Donation$ of the Heart” for the Wounded Warrior Project. If you would like to contribute, please bring your check made out to: Wounded Warrior Project.
Your check payable to Wounded Warrior Project is tax-deductible.

Election for our 2017 Officers will take place at this meeting. If you are willing to serve as an officer, please let Petra know via email:
Mentors (those with the yellow name tags) are asked to write down three interesting but non-essential bits of information about the honeybee and present them to the group. This will be a great time for newbees from the last short course to see who the mentors are and possibly get together with them afterwards to see if they would be willing to help them in the upcoming season. Please write down your three interesting tidbits so Petra can incorporate them in the next membership book.
The course takes three nights to complete and runs from 7:00 to 9:00 PM each night. The first two nights will be a class-room setting with some video but mostly discussion. We will cover all aspects of beekeeping. The third night will be hands-on. We will be building hives ready for use. The cost is $25/person or $45/couple.
