The Wilson County Beekeeping Association is conducting a beekeeping short course on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evening, October 18, 19 & 20 at 7:00 PM in the West Building of the Ward Agricultural Center in Lebanon, TN.
The course takes three nights to complete and runs from 7:00 to 9:00 PM each night. The first two nights will be a class-room setting with some video but mostly discussion. We will cover all aspects of beekeeping. The third night will be hands-on. We will be building hives ready for use. The cost is $25/person or $45/couple. Our next meeting is Monday, July 11th at 7:00 pm in the East/West Building. We will review plans for the Association’s booth and details on the Honey Show at the Fair.
If you need honey bears for your contribution to the Association’s honey sale at the Fair, contact Petra or pick them up at this meeting. The Wilson County Fair is August 19-27. We need honey. We also need items for the gift basket.

The next Wilson County Beekeepers Association meeting is the annual members picnic, and takes place Monday, 6 June 2016 at 7:00 PM at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center on the Wilson County Fairgrounds in Lebanon Tennessee.
The picnic is for WCBA members and their families. If you plan to attend, please notify Petra by Saturday, 4 June 2016. In addition, bring your favorite dish and also a donation for New Leash on Life. Here is their wish list: New_Leash_on_Life_Wish_List-201606
