The course takes three nights to complete and runs from 7:00 to 9:00 PM each night. The first two nights will be a class-room setting with some video but mostly discussion. We will cover all aspects of beekeeping. The third night will be hands-on. We will be building hives ready for use. The cost is $25/person or $45/couple. Our next meeting is Monday, July 11th at 7:00 pm in the East/West Building. We will review plans for the Association’s booth and details on the Honey Show at the Fair.
The next Wilson County Beekeepers Association meeting is the annual members picnic, and takes place Monday, 6 June 2016 at 7:00 PM at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center on the Wilson County Fairgrounds in Lebanon Tennessee.
