Meeting Minutes – 14 April 2014
Carey Mitchell, President of the Wilson County Beekeepers Association welcomed 103 members and guests to the April 14, 2014 monthly meeting. He asked members to keep the Braunwalder family in their thoughts during this difficult time with the loss of their son, Clifton. Individual memorial donations can be made to either the Middle TN Council of Boy Scouts Summer Camp Campership program, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church youth group, The Middle Tennessee State University Catholic Student Center, or the Nashville Rescue Mission. Because we have had family losses within our group recently it wouldn’t be right to make a club donation to one and not all, so individual donations were suggested.
The membership approved the March minutes that were posted in the last newsletter.
Old Business Discussed:
- Today is the last day to pre-order t-shirts to get the size/color combination requested.. Extra shirts will be ordered by the club. An order for hats will be placed and Peter had several different styles to choose from that were circulated. They will have our logo embroidered on the front. The membership will vote at the conclusion of the meeting.
