Lebanon & Mount Juliet

DO NOT BRING A HIVE TOOL – The apiary owner or mentor will have a hive tool.

DO NOT WEAR YOUR GLOVES – Clean neoprene gloves will be provided for those who wish to wear them.

• Participants should bring a smoker and veil along with any other protective clothing you desire (except gloves).
  .
• If you wear a bee suit or jacket to Field Day, WASH IT FIRST! Diseases and pests can be transported on dirty clothing, so always wash your outfit before wearing it to another apiary.

• Finally, smoker fuel will be provided at the apiary for all who bring a smoker. There will be a demonstration on how to properly light your smoker.
