Good Morning, Beekeepers:
Hope everyone came though the storm with minimum damage, and the sun is shining at your end of the world!!!
- Field Day is set for 9:00 am on April 30 at 914 Maple Hill Road in Lebanon. Recommended for ALL newbees and 1st year beekeepers. Please let me know if you are planning on attending so we get a head count. Be sure to bring your protective clothing (optional), veils (mandatory), and smokers/lighter/fuel for contest at the end. Gloves will be provided.
- Need a couple of beekeepers to introduce beekeeping to all Wilson County 2nd Graders on May 4 and 5. This will be at the Ag Center.
- Eric Meador is looking to purchase a bee suit for his young daughter, Jonnie. If you have one your child/grandchild has outgrown, please let me know so that I can get your info to Eric.
Hopefully, we can all get together for the May 2nd meeting on Swarm Prevention and Making Splits.
