Penn State entomologist Maryann Frazier, nationally noted for published studies in Integrated Pest Management and pollination by honey bees will highlight the 2011 Tennnessee Beekeepers Association Conference, October 28-29th, at the Hyder-Burke Ag Pavilion in Cookeville. Other presenters scheduled include Kent Williams, Carl and Virginia Webb, John Skinner, Walt Wright, Vernon Gordon and the list isn’t complete. Be assured we’ll have information and topics of interest for the ‘thinking about it’ or the most seasoned beekeeper. More information will follow as we get nearer on other speakers and on events such as the George DeBusk Honey Show, the silent auction, vendors aisle, and a new event-the honey exchange. Make plans now to join us in Cookeville!

Registration forms in Word or PDF, George DeBusk Honey Show Rules and TBA Honey Exchange guidelines are now online at:  tnbeekeepers.org

Anyone going to Kelley’s in the next week or so that can pick up an order?

Also, this is the final call for anyone wanting to be placed on the honey producers’ list for the fair.  If you have honey for sale and want to let the public know, let me know and I will be sure to put your name and number on the list.

Thanks,

Petra
